Theft

Caution is advised against theft.
Every now and then we receive reports of theft - predominantly in airports, in larger places, on markets, and in public buses and trains. We would therefore advise you to be particularly cautious in these places and to take great care of your hand baggage, cameras and jewellery etc. It is best of all not to wear any jewellery. Everything which is not needed should - if possible - be deposited in the hotel. In the larger hotels you can keep your important documents and valuables in the hotel safe

Tip: We would advise you to fasten your kitbag with a suitable padlock. So-called money bags (which can be worn around the neck or waist) have also proved to be well worthwhile.
