Please do not photograph any military buildings or installations, airports, bridges or border crossings. During your trip you can come into close contact with the population. Hereby much tact and sensitivity is called for - because unfortunately there are already too many impolite or even obtrusive photographers. Please do not photograph people without having asked for their permission beforehand. Be prepared to accept a refusal! A pleasant gesture or a smile is a more courteous way of showing appreciation in return for a photograph than payment for the supposed snapshot. Take sufficient film material with you! This is often very expensive -and sometimes not even available at your destination, or of poor quality.
